Recognizing the viable economic opportunities presented, we request the board of supervisors in Stafford County, Virginia to approve the planned construction of Buc-ee's gas station at exit 140 on the I-95 highway. This strategic development promises to significantly increase the commercial tax base in the area, positively influencing local government funding. In addition, the residential tax burden could potentially be reduced over time due to this increased revenue, providing financial relief to Stafford County residents. Supported by similar successful models in other counties, a Buc-ee's would also likely lead to job creation (at well above minimum wage) and economic growth.
