I attended a one-day workshop with Jack Canfield on 9/24/16 with the full purpose of presenting him with our book idea. He said he had heard of “Recreational Therapy” before. He said he only had a second and had to go quick. I told him about our proposal for the “Chicken Soup for the Recreational Therapist Soul” book. He didn’t comment with a yes or a no. He said he would read over the petition and signatures that I had given him. I attended a lunch with him that had a question and answer section. I raised my hand several times but he didn't call on my hand and time ticked out. sigh. I was really hoping to ask him right there on the spot if he'd give us the green light, which would probably light the path towards this book. - But I didn't get a chance to ask that. I do feel confident that he would read over the petition request, the signatures, and the many positive comments from people like you that had signed this petition and given comments. I do trust he’ll review it. I’m going to send out a thank you letter in the mail to his California business address and re-attach a copy of the petition for him.
