The livestreaming app called, "Yubo," has had a contentious and questionable past in regards to the moderations required to protect the users- who are majority teenagers. Not only has Yubo cultivated a breeding ground for racism, homophobia, and bigotry- the moderations are, at most, lackluster to protect the wellbeing of the young and impressionable adolescents that frequently use the livestreaming platform. More recently, users have seen a spike of harmful and violent behavior that is not reprimanded as quickly as it should. It begs the question- should freedom of speech be restricted if it puts the users at risk? Yubo also has a notorious history with a lack of cyber-security. From hackers and a history of swatting- Yubo has done little to none to protect the safety of its users. 

Harrasment, along with the lack of cyber-security, has put many users at risk. A majority of users are subjected to cyber bullying and deplorable behavior in which Yubo fails to take action. The mental health of the users are put at risk because of the harmful behavior that Yubo fails to take account. Multiple suicides, r*pes, and violence have been live-streamed and broadcasted due to the app that are not taken down as quickly as it should.
