Background play is an important feature for users (musicians, producers, creatives, agents, managers, A&R's, listeners, etc) to have on their iPhone.

Background play allowed users to play attached audio files off their iPhone mail app while using other apps or when the screen was turned off making it better for conserving phone battery and navigating through your phone.

As a songwriter the feature let me create freely when I was sent a song to write to as I hopped from my notes app, dictionary app and mail app.

I'd like to ask Apple to reinstate the background play feature by implementing a on/off option in the mail settings for all creatives that utilized the feature.
