Ned McNaughton started this petition to Apple

People need a clownfish emoji. Not only does it have great comedic value, but it is also so very useful, and the current fish emojis are bleak, old and quite frankly, UGLY. But it doesn’t exist yet. Apple has the power to do this, yet refuses to. So I am here today to change that. Please Apple, give us a clownfish emoji.

Clownfish emojis are comedic. A clownfish emoji would serve of great value to those who enjoy comedy. This stems from the popular internet joke using the clown emoji. If your friend is not making sense, or being dumb, use the clown emoji for some playful banter. The clownfish emoji would serve as another outlet of banter and overall good, funny vibes for us clowns. Some people just need more laughter in their life.

A clownfish emoji would be very useful! Say you just had an awesome trip to the aquarium, YOU NEED A WAY TO EXPRESS YOURSELF, and a clownfish emoji would be the perfect emoji for the job.

The current fish emojis are old, out of date and ugly. We have had these fish emojis almost since Apple emojis were originally created, with very little change over the years. These serve of not much use and don’t show any expression. We need clownfish emojis to lighten the mood, and help give your texts, messages and posts more emotion, personality and flare.

So please Apple, and you readers, please give us fans a clownfish emoji. We have every right to express ourselves, any the clownfish emoji would help us do so, so this is practically a human rights violation. You have every ability to create such an emoji, yet you DENY US OF SUCH A PRIVILEGE. We need this emoji, reader, please sign this petition to help us express ourselves, and to GET THE CLOWNFISH EMOJI.

Thankyou for your time.
