I think Every Apple user can certainly agree that not having a plain and simple pink heart angers us. I am personally using heart emojis daily for various reasons and every day I think to myself “Why is there not a plain pink heart?” We literally have every other heart emoji. Exhibit 1:❤️���������❣️�������. Notice how there is is 7 different pink heart emoji BUT NOT ONE OF THEM ARE PLAIN!!

And you might say “what’s so bad about the other ones?” There are various reasons why my fellow peers and I don’t like the other 7 pink heart emojis. Here are some examples:

�- The ribbon on this emoji reminds me of Christmas and Birthdays. I only find it acceptable to use in in a text like “Happy birthday!��” or “ I hope you have a merry Christmas!���” and you’re only wishing people a merry Christmas one out of the twelve months of the year.

�- I asked my friend Brianna why she didn’t like to use this pink heart emoji and she stated “Its too ✨elegant✨ and Girly for me” You might say “Well, a plain pink heart is girly too” and I wouldn’t agree to that statement because I don’t find the color pink to be described as “girly” but I do find glitter to be described as “girly”

�- I don’t perfer this emoji because it reminds me of a broken heart/a break up and makes me sad. I can’t use this heart in a text like “I love you!�” that just sounds and looks like I don’t really mean that I love the person. I would only use it in a text like “I’m breaking up with you��” And I’m personally not sending a text like that constantly because I don’t have a Significant Other. That’s all my personal opinion. You may not agree with that statement and that’s alright

�- My friend Ava said “it looks like a heartbeat and we don’t need that. When I type heartbeat that emoji shows up” Which I agree with. It doesn’t even look like a heart beat. It feels like a pointless emoji to my peers and I. If you would like to use a “heartbeat” emoji I suggest this one�, over this pointless heart.

I think that we should all join together and convince Apple to give up what we want, and the first step is to sign this petition. So, please join us in THE FIGHT FOR A PLAIN PINK HEART!!
