There are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day. This system of measuring time relies upon different base units to measure time. Seconds and minutes both go up to 60 before they change into the next unit of measurement. Hours go up to 24 before they are measured as a day. Our system is bad as it is difficult and confusing to do maths with. For example, 2.5 minutes is not 2 minutes 50 seconds, but it is 2 minutes and 30 seconds which makes writing equations involving long periods of time extremely difficult. Seasons and years are all based on the movements of our planet so there is no possibility of changing that. For example no matter how we organise time on our planet, the earth will always spin 365.242 times around its axis as it completes 1 orbit around the sun. However, we can change the way in which we split up time in a single day. The only reasons we have of keeping our current system is tradition and the difficulty and magnitude of the task of changing how the entire world measures time would be.

It may seem like one signature is not enough but if we all do it then we will stand a chance at making a change.
