I like to compare Broccoli to the great Greek hero, Achilles. No, Broccoli did not partake in the Trojan War. No, Broccoli is not a demigod. But Broccoli has weaknesses, something which other vegetables do not like to admit. For Achilles it was his heel. For Broccoli, it is their insecurity around the ‘better’ vegetables. Broccoli is always cast aside for cauliflower. Put yourself in Broccoli’s stalks, if you were judged on your appearance on a daily basis, and always the second choice, you would feel insecure as well. I say we speak up for Broccoli. WE WILL FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT!

Why are we wasting our time? This isn't wasting our time, it is speaking out for a group with little to no voice. Why aren't we signing petitions to end world hunger? To end world hunger you have to go and do something about it, signing a petition isn't going to feed 795 million people. We hear your disapproval loud and clear, and unfortunately, so do the Broccoli. You've shattered their self-confidence, how do you feel about that?
