Apple does not have an official Apple store in Malta and we are forced to use Authorized service centers to service our devices. Having an Apple store in Malta would mean that people can make use of their services such as the genius bar. In addition we would also have an official shop where we can buy and repair our devices with proper customer care and official servicing prices.

Currently, a simple battery replacement for a Macbook can take more than 4 weeks and prices are not regulated.
