Appeal to the Chinese Government to Enact an Animal Protection Law, and Support the Young Leafleteer in Xuzhou

呼吁中国政府订立动物保护法，声援徐州传单青年

 

On April 27, 2023, Xu Zhihui, the Chinese Internet influencer  "Jack Latiao", was investigated by the Funan police for spreading cat abuse videos. Xu Zhihui was released by the police after publishing an apology statement on Weibo. However, Xu Zhihui did not rehabilitation but continued to massacre few cats and spread cat abuse videos on the Internet. The Chinese police did not take any legal action for Xu Zhihui's repeated crimes, allowing him to brutalize the poor kittens.

2023年4月27日，中国网红“杰克辣条”徐志辉因传播虐猫视频被阜南警方调查，徐志辉在微博上发表道歉声明后被警方释放，然而徐志辉并未改过自新，继续杀猫并在网上传播虐猫视频。中国警方对徐志辉屡教不改的罪行未采取任何惩罚措施，任由其对可怜的小猫施暴。

 

 

On May 12, a young man in Xuzhou was dissatisfied with "Jack Latiao" Xu Zhihui's abuse of cats and was arrested by the police for throwing a large number of anti cat abuse leaflets from a tall building roof.

5月12日，徐州一青年不满“杰克辣条”徐志辉虐猫，从高空抛洒大量反虐猫传单，遭警方逮捕。

Animal cruelty is a crime, but stopping animal abuse is not. We call on the Chinese government to immediately release the young Xuzhou leafleteer, learn from Western animal protection ideas, enact an animal protection law as soon as possible, and severely punish the cat abuser Xu Zhihui.

虐待动物有罪，保护动物无罪。呼吁中国政府立即释放徐州传单青年，学习西方动物保护思想，尽快订立动物保护法，严惩虐猫狂魔徐志辉。
