ban Lexia from schools

ban Lexia from schools
The Issue
Children in schools all over have experienced having to do Lexia. Lexia is a strange site that's purpose help kids grow their reading skills, But Lexia reads everything to you making it so you don't have to read at all which can actually drop your reading scores. Each lesson takes anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour which leaves little time for other more important activities like actually reading a book. not to mention that Lexia has a slow monotone voice which after 10 minutes gets extremely annoying. the voice has to finish reading before you can actually move on aswell, so even if you are finished reading you have to wait. Many schools think that lexia will boost your reading score so they keep it in the schools daily schedule, there are many reading alternatives that are much better than lexia, these include: achieve 3000, scholastic books, and many more. that is why I want to get rid of Lexia in schools all over the world.
