RSPCA Australian National Statistics 2015-16 reveal that Queensland has the highest number of reported animal cruelty cases in Australia. In Queensland the reported complaints regarding animal cruelty were 18,386, that was 3,433 cases more than New South Wales who had the second largest number of complaints being 14,953. The Australian reported cruelty figures have been increasing over the past 4 years, in 2012/13 they were 49,861 now in 2015/16 they have increased to 62,714.

This has to stop, we have to put an end to animal cruelty. This is proof that the current laws and penalties are inadequate, not a deterrent and simply not working. The number of animal cruelty cases have increased significantly and this needs to change, we are their voice.
