Dear National Testing Agency,

 

I respectfully request the National Testing Agency to **revise the NEET UG 2026 qualifying marks**.

 

The current qualifying marks of *213 for the General (UR) category* and *177 for OBC, SC, and ST categories* are substantially higher than in previous years. This has resulted in a large number of deserving candidates being unable to qualify for the counselling process and has caused significant stress and disappointment among lakhs of aspirants.

 

Considering the exceptional increase in the qualifying marks, I request the National Testing Agency to *lower the qualifying marks* to a level that is more consistent with previous years' trends and ensures fair opportunities for deserving students.

 

I sincerely hope the concerns of the student community will be considered and appropriate action will be taken.
