ANIMAL CRUELTY IN HARMONY NJ

ANIMAL CRUELTY IN HARMONY NJ
The Issue
Animals at Thunder Ridge Farm in Phillipsburg, New Jersey are experiencing severe and ongoing neglect, including lack of food, inadequate care, dehydration, and conditions consistent with starvation.
We have firsthand experience with these conditions.
As a result of this neglect:
- Our gelding was humanely euthanized due to starvation-related decline
- Our mare was found severely emaciated
- Our miniature horse was dehydrated and in distress
In addition to our direct experience, multiple witnesses and community members have documented:
- Horses appearing emaciated, weak, and untreated
- Lack of consistent access to adequate food and clean water
- Unsanitary and unsafe living conditions
- Additional animals, including dogs, showing signs of neglect
It is estimated that over 60 animals may currently be at risk.
These conditions may constitute violations of New Jersey animal cruelty statutes and warrant immediate intervention.
Authorities have been made aware, including:
- Local animal control
- Humane law enforcement
- Warren County Prosecutor’s Office
- New Jersey Department of Agriculture
We are calling for urgent action:
- A formal welfare check and full investigation
Immediate provision of food, water, and veterinary care - Seizure of animals if neglect is confirmed
- Legal accountability for those responsible
- These animals are suffering and cannot advocate for themselves.
Immediate action is necessary to prevent further suffering and loss of life.
