Many animals are killed in shelters from these 'demeanor' tests. Shelters are very loud and overwhelming to these poor animals, causing them immense anxiety, just to deem them violent. Animals need a calm, healthy environment to really see their true personalities, rather than being put down because of fears. Getting rid of these demeanor tests will hopefully push people to help create a more welcoming environment in shelters and give the animals more direct care.
