Many of the people I know and people who have had experience with purchasing pets from Gentle Jungle and I are concerned about the health and housing of the animals in the store. Most of the pets in the store are also sick, sad, and in bad conditions. Also during my research I have found out that most of the dogs purchased there suffered from Guardia which is a genus of anaerobic flagellated protozoan parasites of the phylum Metamonada in the super group "Excavate” that colonise and reproduce in the small intestines of several vertebrates, causing giardiasis, commonly known as Beaver fever. Most of the reviews I've read also stated that the animals that they bought were either in bad condition, sick or had a disease. The animals in Gentle Jungle are also not in a suitable environment. Bunnies in the same cage as guinea pigs, dogs and puppies are in tiny cages (much like what you would see at the pound) and are never properly exercised and have no outlet in which they can run and play. Gentle Jungle's owner was recently arrested on animal cruelty charges for getting the puppies from puppy mills. It states all of the puppy mills and puppy mill types on Against Puppy Mills.org which showed what terrible conditions the dogs where in. Please vote against Gentle Jungle for the safety of animals and for the one step closer to ending animal abuse. Please sign.
