We have made enormous progress. As we round the corner to 1,500 signatures in less than four days, I’m checking the petition insights. We were averaging one signature every minute most of yesterday, but it seems that our pace has slowed significantly. Don’t let yesterday be the peak!

The governor is expected to give an update today at 4 Eastern. Let’s make another push before then. And let’s keep the momentum going. Most schools are beginning this week and thousands of families in need are left with no virtual option. The need is real, and is evidenced by the widespread support this petition has received at a time when the world is saturated with constant COVID news and, frankly, we are fatigued. Please don’t give up.
