In 2017 the conversations began regarding the problematic Columbus statue and monumental Columbus circle. Ultimately Mayor De Blasio was soft handed in his stance allowing the statue to remain in an epicenter of New York City.
Join me in reopening this conversation and pushing that this area be dedicated to the rightful people to be celebrated- our indigenous brothers & sisters!

We must take a firm stance on this and ensure political leaders are being held accountable for treating this as a “low impact change” as it did not serve his main white agenda.
