I want the travel restrictions for New York residents lifted and the wearing of masks to be a personal decision when in public. 

We should not be so willing to have government take control of all of our personal decision making.  If people don't feel safe doing a certain activity or frequenting an establishment, they should have the right to choose.  Further restricting travel within the United States is ridiculous.  This is a slippery slope.  What's next?  Are we going to have chips and be monitored as to our location?  You can have recommendations but we should be able to make our own personal decisions.  If Governor Cuomo truly believes that traveling to GA and returning without his own mandated quarantine is unsafe then why is he choosing to do so?  He justifies this by calling himself an essential worker.  I would argue that he is not only not essential, his trip is not absolutely necessary.  He is NOT relinquishing HIS freedoms while simultaneously taking ours.  Continuing to remove our freedoms ultimately affects our quality of life.  Protesting was allowed but attending church or gym was not?  Again, if you don't feel safe in church or at the gym, you can choose not to attend.  I don't personally agree with wearing a mask but I continue to do so because it is a rule and I am a rule follower in my core.  People who do not feel that way are not wearing them or wearing them incorrectly.  As you are not enforcing the masks, make them a suggestion.  Not every suggestion needs to be a law or a mandate.  Not in the USA where we say we are the land of the free.
