Remake The Supernatural Finale

Remake The Supernatural Finale
The Issue
The Supernatural series finale was unsatisfying to the majority of the fans. The entire message of Supernatural is to always keep fighting, to live your life the way you want to, and that "family don't end in blood." Andrew Dabb, who wrote the finale, threw all of those morals away and gave us an episode riddled with incredibly harmful issues.
The most harmful mistake Dabb and co. made was throwing away the message of hope and perseverance that has been the main theme of the show since the beginning. Many fans see the monsters in the series as a metaphor for mental illness. When Dean, Sam, and Castiel keep fighting when all hope seems lost, so do the fans. Even when things seemed hopeless, Team Free Will never gave up, and it hurt a lot of people to see Dean's story end so tragically. He didn't get to experience living his life with true free will. He was excited about life again, he was starting to believe he was a good person and not just a killer. Killing Dean when he finally had the chance to live his own life and be happy sent a message that one can never be happy while you're alive, but once you die you'll be happy and at peace. To suggest that Dean could only be happy after death is not only triggering to suicidal people, but incredibly hurtful to anyone fighting the monsters inside their heads.
In addition to that is the issue with Castiel. It has been proven time and again that Castiel is a fan favorite character. His departure from the show was stopped several times due to the outcry of the fans demanding he be kept. And yet, he was left out of the series finale. He wasn't given a proper ending, but instead was made a victim of the incredibly hurtful and homophobic trope called "Bury Your Gays" by killing him literally seconds after he came out. This is a practice that has been used throughout the decades in the film and television industry, but we are in the 2020's now and there is no place for such blatantly homophobic actions such as this. And to make matters worse, Dean's subsequent death rendered Castiel's sacrifice completely pointless.
In addition to the above, the beloved character Eileen was completely forgotten. In 15x18, Sam is seen near breaking down when he found she had been snapped out of existence by Chuck. Then, in the following two episodes, she is never mentioned again, and Sam isn't shown having any feelings about this whatsoever. This is sloppy, lazy writing and needs to be remedied along with the rest of the issues stated in this petition.
The last issue is that Dabb used the fans' love of the Dean/Castiel relationship to gain viral notoriety, but didn't bother to follow through with confirmation of Dean reciprocating Castiel's feelings. Dean having romantic feelings toward Castiel was suggested by several context clues throughout the series, but especially in season 15. Why were these context clues given if they weren't going to be used? Why were the fans queerbaited for so many years and led to believe the pairing would finally be recognized, only for it to be thrown out?
Also Sam’s old man wig was awful.
The fans demand a remake of the finale. Let Dean live his life and enjoy finally having free will. Bring Castiel back, because barely mentioning that he was saved from the Empty and brought to heaven was not enough to forgive killing him immediately after his coming out. Let Sam and Eileen be together. Follow through on the Dean/Castiel romance you used as a marketing ploy. And most of all, let them have peace on earth while they are alive.
The characters deserved better. The actors deserved better. The fans deserved better.
Make it right.
