The State and City officials of New York City have announced that they will not be opening restaurants anytime soon, obviously this is due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They are putting a tremendous amount of restaurant owners in a financial bind. There are even some cases that the state or city itself is only deferring rent payments for restaurants, this is obviously not right as those officials are the ones imposing the mandatory shutdown. Please join me in this fight to make a change and allow people the choice to eat at a restaurant in a safe, socially distanced manner and allow these owners to make a living. The city of New York's future is at stake, restaurant owners are leaving the city at an alarming rate. Restaurant owners financial security is in serious jeopardy at this point.
