Gudur has been ignored from decades in Infrastructure development. It is one of the well revenue generators till 90s. Constituency was merged in Tirupati which is 100km away instead of nearest constituency Nellore which is 35km far from Gudur.

The main revenue sectors like Mica ore and lemon export is slowed down and new industries has not been established eventhough the place is well connected to Road, Rail , Ports.

Now is districts restructuring this place has been moved from Nellore to newly formed Balaji district ,the headquarters is Tirupati . We are bonded to Nellore as most of the business is tightly coupled with Nellore.

APSRTC buses are also doesn't come to the stop but goes to Naidupeta stop which has lesser population than Gudur.

Eventough there were great leaders in the constituency it's been ignored in all development sectors. 

It's the time for to show our opinions about our Gudur merging in non-related area.
