Skylar should have the same rights as any other student in the school. The handbook has no provisions expressly addressing handbags. There is also no provision expressly prohiting the carrying of handbags by either female OR male students. He has beeing using & carrying the same bag since August with no incident before this. What makes it an issue or "wrong" now? I am urging school administration / faculty and the Anderson County School Board to repeal Skylar's suspension, (as this is now on his permanent school record).
