Barrack St Post Office in Wexford is to close in April. The Post Office serves over 2,500 homes at Wexford's South End. The post office serves The Faythe, Maudlintown, Trinity St, Mulgannon and Cromwellsfort. Parts of the catchment area for the post office are socially disadvantaged.

 Barrack St has been a busy post office which is popular among locals. This sub office provides a wide range of public services to all ages in the community in addition to postal services. There exists a strong business case for a sub post office in our community.
