I am personally moved by the plight of innocent Palestinians who have been suffering for years. This issue is close to my heart because I believe in their innocence amidst all this turmoil. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reports that between 2008 and 2020, over 5,600 Palestinians were killed and more than 100,000 injured in conflicts. Furthermore, according to a report by World Bank in May 2021, nearly a quarter of Palestinians live below the poverty line.
