We refuse to pay a 27% hike amounting to Rs. 15,886/- in the school fees of our children this year over the previous year. It is an unjust and unfair drain on our annual budgets. This will burden parents, as they are battling with the rise in the cost of living including prices of food and essential commodities compounded by an economic slowdown. The Government of India and honourable Courts have mandated private schools not to increase the school fees in an arbitrary manner without following proper guidelines under the law on this matter.
