Open dialogue with students, parents and Amersham School administration about study leave

The Issue

I am sure that all year 11 students and teachers have at sometime experienced the sub par communication that Amersham School occasionally displays. However in this instance the stakes are higher and the reasoning behind withholding information is negligible. Amersham School Administration has kept teachers, parents and students in the dark about when they will begin study leave. This puts teachers on edge as it is unclear when they need to bring their teaching to a close. This has resulted in rushed lessons and stressed students struggling to plan revision around an unclear future. I believe that the decision should not be made through a petition or purely by senior leadership but through open discussion between all who wish to partake. Allowing all parties to express their worries and concerns and to come to a quick conclusion which is beneficial to all! I am sure that this would help to renew the dwindling faith among pupils that there voices and opinions are truly listened too and the governments wish for the "pupil voice" to be upheld is adhered too.
