America 250: Bringing US together through music, gratitude, and shared celebration
The Issue
For 250 years, the United States of America has been an unfinished story. It has been written by dreamers, workers, builders, teachers, soldiers, artists, families, immigrants, neighbors, and everyday people who believed tomorrow could be better than today.
Now, as our nation approaches its 250th birthday, we have an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime.
We call upon 250 musicians, artists, singers, bands, performers, and creators across America to donate one gift. Their talent.
The request is simple:
As we hit America's 250th birthday, we ask artists to perform a free concert in the state they all home over the next 12 months. Not for profit, not for headlines or for spectacles, but to bring us together.
No giant productions are required. No expensive lights. No elaborate stages.
Just music. Just voices. Just instruments. Just people.
For one moment across this nation, imagine parks filled with families, neighbors meeting neighbors, strangers singing together, and communities gathering not because they agree on everything, but because they share something bigger:
Home.
America has always been strongest when people come together around common ground. Music has a way of doing what politics, headlines, and differences often cannot. Thus, reminding us of our shared humanity.
This celebration is not about ignoring our past or pretending we are perfect. It is about gratitude for how far we have come, respect for the sacrifices that brought us here, and hope for the generations still writing the next chapter.
For 250 years we have endured, built, struggled, and risen.
Now let us celebrate together.
250 artists.
50 states.
One nation.
Millions of Americans.
One unforgettable year to remember!
Let us make America's 250th birthday a celebration not of division, but of unity.
