The Issue

I think it should be evident to the majority of people that the system we have is not working in terms of service to the people. The founders accounted for the time when the Constitution  no longer functions as intended by article 5 allowing for amendment. The problem is that we have abandoned the process as too difficult or too dangerous and it that is true but not impossible..I  think a  ground roots movement to address the fundamental flaws in the current interpretation of the Constitution , money in politics,  A Supreme Court that seems to be making it up as they go along, ethics and term limits for everyone  and  limits on the power of the President.  It can start by referendum with this petition a  large enough interest begins a process of change

Our current political system is marred by the corrosive influence of money. To restore faith in our democracy, we must impose common-sense amendments to remove money from politics. By doing so, we ensure that our voices, not the deep pockets of special interest groups, shape the future of this nation. The electoral process should reflect the genuine will of the people, not the oversized influence of the wealthy few.

Additionally, the Supreme Court, an essential pillar of our democracy, must be held accountable to reasonable ethical standards. This body should not operate above the ethical considerations expected of every American citizen. Judges must adhere to a code that reflects integrity, impartiality, and fairness, providing true justice for all.

Presidential immunity must be reconsidered. No one, not even the President, should be immune from accountability. Strengthening the emoluments clause is an essential step in ensuring that those who hold the highest office do so with integrity and in service to the people, free from undue influence or personal gain.

Finally, we must return to Article 5 of the Constitution, empowering 'We the People' to initiate amendments and reclaim our power from a Supreme Court that too often legislates from the bench based on whims rather than principles.

These amendments are not just common-sense; they are necessary. They are a testament to our ability to shape our government to reflect justice, accountability, and democracy. Let us cast aside our fear and embrace the change that strengthens our nation.

Sign this petition to demand these crucial amendments. Together, we can create a legacy of progress and integrity for generations to come.
