As the father of my beloved son, I am facing heart-wrenching difficulties I never thought I would face. Despite a family court order issued in 2022, my son's mother is denying me the experience of raising, nurturing, and bonding with my son. I've appealed to the court thrice in 2024, and each time, the court has ordered the return of my son to my care.

Nonetheless, against the rulings of these court hearings, the Child Support Agency has altered my care status from 50% to zero, based solely on the mother's request. Currently, this incongruence between family court orders and child support laws undermines the justice meted out by the family court.

This disparity not only affects me but touches on the lives of many parents who, like me, have been unjustly denied their right to care for their children despite court rulings. It highlights a significant flaw in our legal system which needs to be rectified.

Therefore, this petition calls for the amendment of legislation to ensure that child support agencies conform to family court orders. This change will uphold the integrity of these court rulings and guard against any form of manipulation.
