This isn't a bid to undermine monogamous relationships, but rather a request to modify marriage laws to fit the plurality of human experiences and emotional realities we face in the 21st century.

Polygamy was once a widely practiced marriage pattern among many societies globally and it continues to be customary in some sects and cultures today. However, monogamy has become the predominant pattern in most parts of the world due to historical, sociocultural and religious influences.

It's important to understand that we are not trying to force a lifestyle change on anyone, but merely seeking the freedom to align our legal status with our emotional reality without the fear of reprisals, judgments, or legal consequences. This law change would entirely be based on free will, consent, and mutual understanding between all parties involved.
