Almost every mom uses a breast pump. What do we do after we are done using it? The one who knows its value, cannot just throw it away. There might be people around who may not afford it. I received it through my insurance and I would like to give it away to someone who can utilize it instead of throwing it away and adding more plastic to our already overly polluted environment. I have been trying hard to reach out to people myself but I wonder who would take so much time and energy for donating such an important item if its not quite straightforward. I figured that another brand came up with a recycling program after sending them the petition, I hope Ameda will take my petition in consideration and help share our resources and save environment. I have mine ready to be used by someone who really needs it and cannot afford it.
