In this day and age with movies become longer and longer (2.5-3 hours becoming the norm for most movies), I am petitioning that AMC and other movie theaters should consider adding a 10-20 minute intermission half way through these movies for restroom breaks, refills, etc. Even if it’s only for specific showings, I believe this should be an option.

Too many times have I decided to forego getting any snacks and drinks simply because I didn’t want to miss a scene from the latest Marvel movie. I can either choose to get a large Dr. Pepper or I can watch the whole movie. IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS WAY!

So please, AMC, give us the option for 10-20 minute long intermissions if the movie is longer than two hours. I don’t think anyone would complain about it and some would even choose your theater over others because of this feature!
