I petition to have Amber Alert's issued for every missing child regardless circumstances of the disappearance. Recently a 4 year old little girl was taken without her parents permission hours away from her home. She was missing 2 1/2 days before police located them. The abductor was in a very unique stolen vehicle which we are certain would have been spotted, no Amber Alert, child wasn't taken forcefully??. If issued and spotted this would have saved days of the unknown and trauma on the child and family. 17 year old Katelynn was missing from Clermont Fl for 4 days. She was seen getting into a vehicle with out of state tags. According to Amber Alert criteria this case didn't qualify for an alert. This being out of character for the child absolutely should have an amber alert issued. I am sure that there are many other events out there that should an alert have been issued the cases may have been resolved earlier. I am not a well educated individual just a mom hurting for mom's unknowing the where abouts of their child and hoping that the laws would step in and take just a small step in helping get the word out for missing children. These are just 2 cases in which the youth need the system to work for them. Please help me petition in hopes of revamping their criteria for missing or exploited children. Thank you!!
