Update and Improve Prime Video!!

Update and Improve Prime Video!!
The Issue
Prime Video is a video streaming service available for Amazon Prime members for no additional cost. But it's by far the worst streaming service available.
In summary, the platform is filled with outdated, poor quality movies and shows. There's not a separate section for paid content, mixing rentals with subscription movies. It doesn't curate content based on user preferences, movies watched, rated and searched for. They rarely add content and when they do, it's from the 40s to 90s. It's never new releases.
There's a major problem with navigating Prime Video and finding the films in Amazon's catalog. Other platforms are curated and clearly tell subscribers what's new and provides spotlights on directors, actors, and various themes to encourage exploration. Any decent film available in Prime Video is buried amongst junk that you don't want to view. Regardless what you watch or search for, the selection doesn't organize based on your preferences, and it's impossible to find anything decent without searching specifically for a movie to see if it's available.
Another MAJOR flaw and issue is that there's not a separate section for paid content, mixing rentals with subscription movies. Recommendation galleries and search results bring up a mix of both and doesn't always favor the free version, which is usually indistinguishable in quality. Only 20 of the top 100 shows on Amazon Prime Video are original, while more than half are acquired from somewhere else, and 28 of the top 100 shows on Prime Video aren’t even available with a membership. Amazon is constantly trying to upsell their movie content by baiting users to rent or buy movies and subscribe to premium channel packages. It may just be a flaw in the system but regardless, it doesn’t help the Prime Video subscriber make the most of their service and it needs to be changed!
While many of the films are presented in fine editions, their indifferent quality control leaves subscribers with countless poor copies of public domain titles (as well as some more recent films) that don't look or sound much better than the bargain bin videotapes you could find 20 years ago. That's an instant turn-off in an age where studios routinely remaster their catalog for the HD era.
Browsing by genre on Amazon Prime is like wading through the donations bin of a library sale. Counting on Amazon's own recommendations isn't any better. For a company that built its success on targeting consumers based on their buying patterns, the metrics of Amazon's search function fail in every sense to sort junk from good content. And there's a lot of junk in their vast collection.
Regardless of what you search for, Amazon's algorithm doesn't seem to update the movie selections for each genre as it would in another subscription to suit your personal preferences. Nothing in my search history churns up the suggestions that I receive.
