I live on a military installation like hundreds of thousands of people in America. Currently, Amazon delivery brand vans cannot come onto military bases. So anytime I get a delivery via Amazon delivery vans, I get a phone call asking to come and meet them at a gate to pick up my item. This is not possible for me as I have three small children, and it’s frankly unacceptable and defeats the purpose of ordering online. Because I am not able to do this, my item is sent back and I cannot receive it. This is very inconvenient because I order almost all of our primary care needs like diapers, wipes, etc. from Amazon. In my delivery instructions I always put “no Amazon vans, USPS or UPS only,” yet this has made no difference also. Most of the items I order are sent by Amazon delivery vans even though I have called Amazon about this issue (twice, logistics department), they have said they have “Deprioritized” the van deliveries but it still happens to me almost daily! Unfortunately there is no option to remove Amazon vans from delivery options currently. There either needs to be an option for this, or they need to somehow figure out how to get the van drivers access like USPS or UPS has. Please help!
