Amazon: Censure Richard Hammond for anti-gay slur

In the Amazon TV show "The Grand Tour" top presenter Richard Hammond is reported by the BBC as saying "It's all right, I don't eat ice cream. It's something to do with being straight."

Even macho co-presenter Jeremy Clarkson called the audience out on it because they applauded Hammond "Why are you applauding him? What do you mean? You're saying all children are homosexual?"

But Hammond trolled on. "What? What? Ice cream is a bit - you know... There's nothing wrong with it, but a grown man eating an ice cream - it's that way, rather than that way."

Amazon, you need to censure your star and do so in public. Bigotry is not something we will stand for. Being an equal opportunities employer should not extend to employing and giving a platform to bigots.
