Amazon is one of the world's largest and most profitable companies and has become integral in how merchandise and goods are sold and delivered. They do a wonderful job.

With the pandemic forcing most of us to depend on home deliveries, the amount of packaging and cardboard boxes being sent to landfills has increased dramatically.

Let's make it mandatory that Amazon pickup and recycle their own boxes as part of the services that they provide. If consumers simply put their empty Amazon boxes out, any Amazon driver could put the empty boxes back in their truck. These boxes could then be returned to the distribution centers for reuse. It's a win for the environment and a win for Amazon's bottom line as the recycled boxes would mean less new boxes having to be purchased by them.

"With great power, comes great responsibility". Let's remind Amazon of the great power and responsibility that they have as corporate citizens to protect the environment.
