The Amarillo city council is set to vote on Friday November 20th to create a business penalty of up to $2,000 for businesses that do not enforce mask wearing. 

This is overly burdensome for Amarillo’s struggling businesses. In a year that has been VERY difficult for Amarillo business, adding more cost and requiring business to become the police of their very own customers is outrageous. 

Don’t allow our local government to pass ordnance’s that defy the US constitution in an attempt to force their policy on free business.
