Councillor Amanda Collucci - Markham

We haven't heard back from you on our petition from last year for an Off Leash Dog Park in Berczy Village in Ward 6.

Today we received information that the City of Markham is opening a Dog Park in Cornell Woodlot Park, 300 William Forster Rd, Markham, ON L6B 0T7 on Sunday, August 28th, 2022.

When we see the location of the park on google maps, we notice it does not meet any of the requirements you mentioned are required for a dog park in a residential area.

Is your office or city even doing anything to address our request? We haven't received any updates or heard of any progress.

Can you please inform us the name of the councillor of the ward where the new dog park is located and maybe we can approach them for their help on how they were able to meet their constituents needs?
