Due to the pandemic, we have seen a growth of dogs in our neighborhood. However, we don't have enough fenced, safe, leash-free dog parks in Markham. Apart from the Miller Avenue Off-Leash Dog Park and Cornell Community Dog Park, most of the dog parks are far and crowded.

We need a new fenced dog park in Markham near the Berczy Park where our furry family members can safely play and socialize.

We have enough parks in Markham and to designate one as a fenced, leash-free, dog park where our dogs can play safely is very feasible and will be welcome with the growing community of dog-owners and dog-lovers in the community.
