Alternatives To Anti - Homeless Architecture

Alternatives To Anti - Homeless Architecture
The Issue
Hello everyone today i started a petition for Anti - Homeless architecture because i noticed it becoming a more worldwide thing and more common in a lot of places…
So a little bit of backstory on how anti - homeless architecture was made/started
It was created to stop “antisocial behaviour” and instead of hostile architecture (even though we can clearly see by any photo a majority are hostile) they claim it to be a defensive architecture…They also made it to prevent behaviors such as loitering sleeping skatebording or anything that would be considered out of place in public spaces.
And you may be wondering what it is? Well some small things are spikes under benches, curved benches, plantery behind benches so you cant lean back or sleep and you can find more pictures here: https://www.arch2o.com/10-inhumane-hostile-architecture-examples/#:~:text=Hostile%20architecture%20examples%3A%20How%20it%20impacts%20homeless%20people%3F,8%29%20Street%20dividers%3A%20%C2%A9The%20EyeOpener%2FTwitter%20...%20More%20items
Also always a simple google search of: Anti - Homeless Architecture
Would work!
This petition would be going to the provincial government and it would be going there since they give permission to the municipal government which is truly where it would be going since this is a city transpo related thing, then as i see progress id send it to more/higher positions since i want to start small not to push chances! Once i see growth in this petition then ill start contacting.
And also with that fact these would be the same people to fix it/build more stuff:
The provincial government which is currently run by Progressive Conservative Dough Ford would be the ones contacted about this but they would obviously need to send it down to the people who are in control of housing and stuff which would be more specifically the ministry of municipal affairs and housing. It would be going there because they are the ones who really dominate that field such as doing city parks, public transportation, citty roads and things along that nature and since my main argument is Anti Homeless architecture and that centers around public transportation because the architecture is being built there it would naturally to that government.
I want to state a big huge thing that a lot of people will think immediately when seeing this “Well how will this affect our transportation?” I have an answer for that
This matter will of course affect transportation and passengers/people who take transpo in multiple ways. For one it wouldnt just be a small affect in a small area that not a lot of people are at the more this grows the more cities it would be placed in, and i completely understand why some people would not want this to go through because of safety concerns and some people really just dont want to be bothered when theyre waiting to catch a bus, because in all honesty when you’re desperate especially in the case of homelessness you are going to beg for anything, money, food water anything you can really find. But thats where our main problem lies, which you will find i stated the solution;
The general solution to this problem is something that people would probably bring up to counter my main statement, which would be housing and shelters… If housing was made more affordable then maybe we could also add in more shelters that provide stuff such as medical aid, meals, places to sleep as well as accessible resources that will help improve their lives such as addiction counseling. This would benefit honestly everyone homeless or non homeless, and this would be placed in cities since the municipal government mains in city related things, and why this solution would be good is generally because again it benefits everyone and i think we would be more peaceful and effective for the world and everyones lives, when you feel better in yourself youd want to improve your life.
I completely respect anyones opinion who does not want to sign this for their own reasons! But i hope that after everything i stated you somewhat agree with me!!!
