I believe our county council is key to enacting change and fostering a sense of community. However, the current meeting times hinder many community members from participating. The early or inconvenient meeting times make it inaccessible for majority of our community members, preventing their voices from being heard where they matter most -- in our local government. We need to change this to ensure everyone's interest is accounted for, their voices heard and their time respected. Therefore, we ask our county council to alter meeting times to more accessible hours. This way, more community members can attend, participate, and contribute towards making our county truly community-driven.
