It is essential that school buses carrying our precious children have dash cams. 

Today when my 2 (3yrs and 6yrs) children were getting off the bus a red suv blew past the stopped bus. Didn't slow down. Thankfully, my children got off the bus on the same side as their daycare or they would have been fatally struck.

The bus driver was busy making sure that my kids were getting off safely and didnt see the suv until it passed. He couldn't get the plate number as everything happened so fast. 

If there were cameras on the bus we'd have a chance in catching this driver. At this point all we can rely on is asking the community if they recognize the vehicle.  

The outcome of these events could have been far worse and I'm thankful they were not. What about next time?
