Aloha should be the norm for greetings.

The Issue

This sounds crazy and I don’t even know if I’m serious but hear me out. When english speakers greet each other, sometimes they say “hi” and when leaving they generally say some form of “bye.” It is my belief that the term Aloha should be put to practice as it means hello and goodbye. It represents the ability to be happy at greeting someone and understanding that good bye isn’t really goodbye but an opportunity to say hello again another time. It’s dumb I know but why not? There is nothing to lose and everything to gain. Take the idea of culture. This could be argued as a way to protect Hawaiian culture through time. I don’t think that but you can! Just sign! Why not?
