Anyone feeling the same as I am please add your name to this e-mail so that our town supervisor sees how many of us want to know where our tax dollars are going and what is going on behind closed doors.

On behalf of the Residents of the Town of Alma, New York, I, Paula Clayson, hereby appeal the decision to deny the FOIL request sent to the Informational Officer on April 22, 2020.

The requested records include the following:

ALL Abstracts for 2020 (January 2020, February 2020, March 2020, and April 2020)

ALL Minutes for 2020 (January 2020 meeting and both February 2020 meetings)

Profit/Loss Actual from January 2020 to the (then) current date of April 22, 2020

ALL Resolutions passed from January 2020, February 2020, March 2020, and April 2020

ALL Attorney fees paid with as much detail as possible, redacting for confidential information.

As per The Freedom of Information Law, the individual designated to respond to FOIL requests has ten (10) business days to respond upon receipt of appeal. In addition, if this appeal is denied, the Freedom of Information Law requires that a denial be fully explained in writing.

Please be advised that the Freedom of Information Law requires all appeals and determinations are to be forwarded to the Committee on Open Government, Department of State, One Commerce Plaza, 99 Washington Ave., Albany, NY, 12231.
