I am starting this petition to possibly make a difference when it comes to breeds of animals that rental properties who allow pet friendly animals discriminate on the breeds such as pitbulls German shepherds or any other animal they want to assume is vicious.

I currently rent a property in Batesville Mississippi I have a pet and I also paid a pet deposit fee of $250 note I did not tell them what type of breed my animal was now that they have found out that it is a Pitbull breed I was informed that I either have to get a rid of the animal or move so my choice was to move because my animal is my baby he is sweet and loving and wouldn't hurt a fly he is he is basically one one of my children and he is not allowed on the property that I live at due to the fact that it is a pit bull breed the locations I have called that are Pet friendly also requires a pet deposit fee but once noted of the breed I was told that they were not allowed and that goes for every place I have called.

I don't feel that that is fair for the animal nor the owner of the animals it is not their fault what type of breed they are and what they have been distinguished as to society my pitbull is not a vicious animal and should not be discriminated against my pit has every right to live at any pet friendly rental property just as much as a shih tzu a lab or any other animal that is considered non vicious
