Students at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences are currently forced to use Microsoft Outlook for accessing their university email accounts. While Microsoft Outlook is a functional email client, many students have expressed dissatisfaction with its performance and with how disorganized it is/looks and have a strong preference for using Mozilla Thunderbird or any other client. Mozilla Thunderbird, known for its flexibility, customization options, and open-source nature, offers a more user-centric and efficient experience for its users.

At Thomas More University, students should have the freedom to choose the email client that best suits their personal and academic needs. Allowing Thomas More emails to be integrated with Mozilla Thunderbird not only provides students with this freedom but also aligns with the university's commitment to fostering an inclusive and technology-enabling environment.

We call upon the administration and ICTS at Thomas More University to take immediate action in allowing emails to be added to Mozilla Thunderbird or any other client for that matter. Sign this petition to support our cause for technological freedom and choice.

If the administration does not allow Mozilla Thunderbird, at least allow us to use another client. Students at this respected university, should have freedom of choice.
