The Issue

As a group of loyal customers of the local club in Torquay, my friends and I truly cherish the nights we spend dancing, laughing, and making unforgettable memories together at our favourite spot. We’ve been devoted customers for quite some time, consistently choosing this venue over others in the area because of the unique atmosphere and the strong sense of community it fosters. To us, this club isn't just a place to enjoy a night out; it's a social hub that strengthens our friendships and offers countless moments of joy.

However, recently, we've encountered issues at the entrance and been banned for a fight we did not start and that has prevented us from enjoying our nights out together. Despite our unwavering commitment and regular attendance, we've been unable to enter the club as a group, which disrupts our plans and hinders our overall experience. We believe this policy does not reflect the inclusive spirit and community values we know and love about Torquay.

Research indicates that repeat customers spend 67% more than new customers (Small Business Trends, 2020), and creating an enjoyable experience for loyal clients is pivotal for any business. Moreover, fostering a friendly and inclusive environment is crucial in building long-lasting customer relationships and promoting a positive community atmosphere.

We are calling on the management of the club in Torquay to implement a more flexible entry policy that accommodates loyal friend groups. This change will not only reaffirm the club's commitment to its loyal patrons but also enhance the overall experience for all attendees. We propose that a simple solution, such as a loyalty programme or a guest list for regular customers, be introduced to facilitate entry for dedicated patrons like us.

We urge the club management to consider our plea and take immediate action to ensure that loyal customers can enjoy their nights out without unnecessary hurdles. Sign this petition to support a policy change that will benefit not just us, but the entire community of Torquay. Let's preserve the vibrant, inclusive nature of our beloved club.
