The Govenaires are the oldest active drum and bugle corps in the activity. During the 2027 season, they will be celebrating their 100th anniversary. While their competitive achievements may be modest compared to other corps, lasting a century is no small feat. With more and more corps taking years off or folding as the years pass, DCI would be remiss not to highlight this special anniversary. 

By allowing the Govenaires to perform in an exhibition at DCI World Class Finals, DCI can celebrate the Govenaires' centennial with the largest possible audience.
